Dear Parents,

In this issue, we discussed the topic of “Career Journey” to help you provide the support and guidance your children need in the profession choice and career planning processes that will shape their lives. Based on the view that children's career choices in accordance with their interests, talents and personality traits increase their life satisfaction, we aimed to help you, dear parents, gain awareness about the career journey and provide guidance to their children. 

In this regard, we first addressed the importance of profession choice and cultural and socio-economic factors. Then we covered topics such as the role of parents in the career journey, ways to balance between parents and children's preferences, and how to discover children's potential. Finally, we have touched on possible mistakes that can guide parents in this process and tips that can facilitate this process. 

We have also prepared activities, career cards and question and answer sections that you can do with your children. It is important to remember that choosing a career is not just about choosing a job; it is also the choice of a lifelong lifestyle. It is of great importance to be with your children on this journey, to guide them and provide support at every step.
